On April 29 th , Super Taikyu hold a 3 hour race at the Sportsland Sugo Circuit, Miyagi pref. When before the 3 hour race started up, the rain started to fall but soon it shifted towards dry condition.
【#86 takes first win at Sugo】
The #86 TOM’S SPIRIT 86 driven by Takamitsu Matsui, Naoya Gamo and Sho Tsuboi ran from pole position to the first win in this year.
From the first lap, # 86 Matsui had built up a big lead over other places and he drove 40 laps. After change the driver to Tuboi, they received a drive-through penalty.
But they maintain their pace and finishes the race placing 1st.
During this time,#54 and #13 followed closely battling it out for second position.
5 minutes left on the clock, # 54 had a accident at Umanose corner.
Also #13 was penalized of pushing another competitor out of competition nevertheless they took the 2nd place.
In the Super Taikyu Series, weight handicap is imposed on each car according to results from the previous race and #93 this time is loaded with a 15kg weight, and yet #93 took 3rd place.

The #88 MURAKAMI MOTORS MAZDA Roadster ND won the 2 round. They started from the pole positions and they ran solo.
